Singapore’s fifth Waste-to-Energy plant

Client: National Environment Agency (NEA)
Project Type: 25-year Design-Build-Own-Operate (DBOO) contract. First incineration plant awarded under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative by NEA.
Plant Capacity:
800 tonnes of solid waste per day to generate more than 20MW of green energy.
Key Features: In-house technology such as the air-cooled tumbling grates, boiler, rotary atomiser and flue gas treatment system.
Modular, space-saving compact design with energy saving features.

Up to 2,300 tonnes of mixed domestic solid waste and 5,000 tonnes of construction and demolition waste per day
Key Features: Integrated solid waste management facility providing waste sorting and recycling facilities, landfilling, composting plant and a 1,500 tonnes per day waste-to-energy (WTE) plant

Greater Manchester Energy-from-Waste Plant Project

Client: Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority (Phase 1) and Viridor Waste Management (Phase 2)
Project Type: Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC)
Project Value: approx S$859 million
Plant Capacity:
Treat 750,000 tonnes of RDF per year and generate, at full capacity, 70 MW of electricity and 51 MW of heat.
Key Features: In-house technology such as the water-cooled tumbling grates, Keppel Seghers Prism Technology which increases plant availability and double-dry flue gas treatment system. When both phases are completed, the plant will be one of the largest EfW facilities in Europe.
Location: Greater Manchester region in the United Kingdom

Project Type: Provision of technology for the furnace, boiler and flue gas cleaning components
Plant Capacity:
Expansion of 3,000 tonnes per day.
Key Features: The WTE plant will be the largest in China, when completed, with an eventual capacity to treat 4,200 tonnes of municipal waste per day.
