District Heating and Cooling

Keppel DHCS

KIE’s subsidiary, Keppel DHCS, offers energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly district heating and cooling systems (DHCS) services with a host of benefits to its customers. DHCS uses a centralised plant, which houses energy-efficient chilled water production and thermal energy storage facilities, hot water production facilities and co-generation and waste heat management systems. The plant distributes chilled and hot water to its customers’ buildings through a network of pipes.

Keppel offers a more cost-effective choice for heating and cooling, and its systems ensure uninterruptable supply of chilled and hot water to customers even in the event of power failure. With a robust maintenance programme managed by a team of dedicated trained professionals, Keppel is also able to provide round-the-clock, one-stop service technical support to its customers.
