KIE's subsidiary, Keppel FMO, offers integrated facilities management services for mission-critical facilities and commercial properties in Singapore and overseas. This includes providing maintenance services to BCA Green Mark Buildings as well as consultancy services for green offices.

Keppel FMO operates across a wide spectrum of industries and markets that include aviation, healthcare, education, government, mission-critical commercial and transportation facilities. The Singapore facilities under management include Changi International Airport, Joint Commission International (JCI) accredited hospitals and educational campuses. Keppel FMO also has business presence in China, India and Qatar.

Keppel FMO was established in 1985 as part of Keppel Engineering (now Keppel Integrated Engineering). Starting its operations with the Seletar Aerodrome in Singapore, the company subsequently expanded its operations to the Changi International Airport and other facilities.

In 2001, Keppel FMO was incorporated as its own entity and grew its base to include other industries whereby mission-critical support is required.
