Appointment of Project Director for Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority (GMWDA) Project

Keppel Integrated Engineering, the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) service provider for the Greater Manchester Waste Disposal Authority (GMWDA) project, has appointed Mr Andy Bendall, 45, as the Project Director.


With more than 20 years of project experience under his belt, Andy will be overseeing the EPC project for one of the largest waste and renewable energy projects in the UK.

Before joining Keppel, Andy was the Senior Project Manager for AMEC, a consultancy, engineering and project management services provider to energy, power and process industries, where he oversaw the execution of a £120 million gas transmission pipeline project.

He was also the MD of an equipment provider for the waste management industry, as well as the managing and project director for a maintenance service provider.

Andy holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University and a Diploma in Business Management.
